Brussels Office

Frida joined EUK in January 2015, and was promoted to Managing Director in October 2024. Previously she worked on an information project for the European Parliament elections, and completed internships in the European Parliament and a Brussels-based business confederation. Frida holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from University College Dublin and a MSc in International Relations and Global Governance from the University of Gothenburg. She speaks Swedish (native), English and German.

John Roberts has been a public affairs adviser for over 40 years, working mainly as a consultant but also in-house. As a Founder and Director of the Brussels company, John remains involved with its day-to-day management and is always available to assist clients when necessary.  He started working in Brussels and Strasbourg in the 1980s and lived in Brussels for seven years in the ’80s and ’90s, first opening a successful public affairs agency and later heading EU Government and Institutional Relations for a major US multinational.  EUK in Brussels was formally established in 2003 and, although he is now UK based, John makes regular trips to Brussels.

Sean Murray has over 35 years’ experience in communications and public affairs with multinational companies in a variety of business sectors. His early career included five years in sales with an international shipping company. Between 1987 and 1990, Sean held senior positions in corporate communications with GE (USA) and Unisys. He joined the Brussels office of Philip Morris in 1991 handling media relations, internal communications and lobbying. He was appointed Director EU Government Relations in 1999. Sean joined EUK in 2003 to set up its Brussels office. He is fluent in French, German and Italian having taught modern languages and worked in a number of European countries.

Marc joined EUK Consulting in July 2016, having previously worked for an international environmental NGO in Brussels. Prior to that, he completed traineeships both with an MEP in Brussels and an MP in Westminster. Marc holds an MSc in Politics and Government in the EU from the London School of Economics and a BA in Politics and International Relations from the University of Kent. He speaks English, French and Italian.

Emese joined EUK Consulting in August 2017. She had previously completed a traineeship at the European Parliament and gained experience in the non-profit sector whilst working for a Hungarian NGO. Emese holds a Master’s degree in European Studies from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary. She speaks Hungarian and English, and understands German.

Johannes joined EUK Consulting in January 2020. Prior to joining EUK, he worked at the European Policy Centre in Brussels. Previously, he also completed a traineeship at the European Parliament and an internship at a Berlin-based think tank specialising in European politics. Johannes holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena and a Bachelor´s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Passau. He speaks German (native), English and French.

Lara joined EUK Consulting in October 2021. Prior to joining EUK, she has worked at the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Beirut. She also completed traineeships both at the European Parliament and the Red Cross EU Office in Brussels. Lara holds a Master’s degree in International Development with a specialization in International Conflict and Security from the University of Kent – Brussels School of International Studies, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the American University of Beirut. Lara speaks English, French, Arabic and understands Spanish.

Thomas joined EUK Consulting in October 2024. Prior to joining EUK, he worked at the Fondation Robert Schuman in Brussels. He also completed traineeships at UNESCO and the Centre for European Volunteering. Thomas holds a Master’s in European Affairs from Sciences Po Paris, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of East Anglia. Being Franco-British, he is fluent in French and English.
